On November 13, 2005, at about 7 a.m., former WWE champion Eddie Guerrero, 38, was found dead in his hotel room in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

He was scheduled to wrestle Randy Orton and Batista that night in a three-way match to be aired on Smackdown.

WWE held a press conference on the afternoon of Guerrero's death, with Vince McMahon and Chavo Guerrero taking questions from the media.
