Stacy Keibler has won The Baltimore Sun's first-ever "Celebrity Smackdown" competition.
According to Ring Posts, Keibler was one of 8 finalists from a total field of 64 local Baltimore contestants. She walked away with a stunning 442,831 votes (74.6 percent), finishing ahead of runner-up Marin Alsop (149,005 votes, 25.1 percent), the conductor of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. The other six participants combined accounted for just 0.3 percent.
To get into the finals, Keibler routed Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon (90.1 percent to 9.9 percent), Orioles Hall of Famer Cal Ripken (78.4 to 21.6) and record-setting Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps (79.7 to 20.3) in one-on-one-match-ups.
Really, when you call a contest a "smackdown," you should expect a wrestler to win!
